WWE’s Internal Reaction to Kevin Owens’ Vicious Assault on Cody Rhodes After Bad Blood

Kevin Owens has made a name for himself in WWE by facing some of the biggest stars in wrestling. Recently, he had some growing tensions with Cody Rhodes. This came to a head when Owens attacked Rhodes after the Bad Blood event last week and now WWE’s internal reaction to the same has been revealed.

WWE Bad Blood 2024 featured many unforgettable moments, including Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns winning against Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu, aided by a returning Jimmy Uso. The night took a surprising turn when The Rock made a shocking comeback.

After the event, fan footage showed Kevin Owens and Cody Rhodes in a heated argument in the parking lot. What began as a tense exchange escalated into violence when Owens punched Rhodes, knocking him to the ground. Owens continued to attack Cody while he was down, even attempting to throw a garbage can at him.

Fightful Select reports that WWE was quite pleased with the way the altercation between Kevin Owens and Cody Rhodes unfolded after WWE Bad Blood. They found the incident to be spontaneous and generated significant buzz. Rhodes ended up looking a bit “roughed up” following the encounter, which added to the realism of the moment that WWE appreciated.

Triple H has already addressed Kevin Owens’ attack on Kevin Owens, where he said, “We are aware of the incident outside of the arena last night between Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens. The matter will be dealt with internally.” Therefore, we will have to wait and see how WWE will book their storyline in the coming weeks, as it’s clear Owens will have a logical answer for his actions.
