WWE Superstars Set For Return With A Name Change On 10/14 RAW

WWE is gearing up for a major change on next week’s episode of RAW, as the long-anticipated return of Erik and Ivar is set to bring a fresh dynamic to the tag team division.

According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, The Viking Raiders will make their comeback during these tapings, but this time, they’ll be reintroducing themselves with their former name, the War Raiders.

The October 14 episode of RAW will feature a top contender tournament for the tag team titles, with Alpha Academy taking on the returning War Raiders. Both members have been out of action with injury, and it’s anyone’s guess if Valhalla and her antlers will return with them, but they’re getting their old name back.

WWE has been building up excitement with mysterious teaser vignettes in recent weeks, which have now been revealed to be hinting at the return of not just one, but two Superstars. The War Raiders are set to make a big impact.

Before joining WWE, the duo was known as War Machine, but after their main roster call-up, Vince McMahon changed their name several times. With Triple H now at the helm, they are reclaiming their old NXT moniker, setting the stage for a return to form.
