Friday Night SmackDown continues to dominate as WWE’s flagship show, drawing in a significant weekly audience with its latest episode sparking considerable discussion and excitement.

According to Programming Insider, the October 4th edition of Friday Night SmackDown saw a decrease in viewership, attracting 1.518 million viewers, as the previous week’s show received 1.568 million viewers. Moreover, the show achieved a 0.47 rating in the key 18-49 demographic, a decrease increase from the previous week’s 0.45.

This week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown was the go-home edition of the show before the Bad Blood Premium Live Event and saw Michin beat Chelsea Green in a Dumpster match, The Bloodline retaining their Tag Team Championships, AJ Styles returning and more memorable moments throughout the show.

This decrease in viewership might come as a surprise for fans who expected more for Friday Night SmackDown. Nonetheless, fans certainly hope SmackDown’s ratings will see an increase soon enough.
