It’s Monday night, and you know what that means! The post-WWE Bad Blood episode of RAW will go down tonight, and Ringside News has got you covered with live play-by-play results coverage for the October 7, 2024 episode.

WWE RAW Results (10/7/2024):

The show opens up with Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett welcoming us while a shot of the St. Louis skyline is shown. We then get video footage from earlier in the day of Sami Zayn signing autographs outside the venue, along with separate shots of WWE World Heavyweight Champion “The Ring General” GUNTHER, “The Bruiserweight” Pete Dunne and “The Celtic Warrior” Sheamus walking backstage as well as the arrivals of The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) and WWE Intercontinental Champion “Main Event” Jey Uso.

Ring announcer Samantha Irvin then introduces Sexyy Red, who is already standing in the ring. Red plays to the crowd a bit and dances.

We then get a video package recapping this past Saturday’s WWE Bad Blood premium live event.

“The Best In The World” CM Punk then makes his way out to address the WWE Universe. CM Punk starts off by saying he’s in no condition to walk and it hurts for him to smile, and even though he is alive, he doesn’t feel like it. Punk then says despite winning his Hell in a Cell Match against Drew McIntyre at WWE Bad Blood on Saturday, he doesn’t feel like a winner. Punk then says he’s hurt worse than he’s ever been hurt in his entire life and he wants to thank his fans for their long time support, his peers that he feels privileged to walk the hallways backstage with and his haters for motivating him to turn their hate into cash. Punk then looks into the camera and says he doesn’t know why they keep doubting him, but he hopes they keep doubting him. Punk then says he had to go home because he hadn’t seen his wife in five weeks. Punk then says he had a lot of flowers to buy. Punk then says he’d love to say that he will see the fans soon, but he just doesn’t know. Punk then thanks the fans.

Seth “Freakin” Rollins then makes his way out and goes face-to-face with Punk on the stage. Rollins then makes his way down to the ring while Punk heads to the back. Once in the ring, Rollins plays to the St. Louis crowd. Rollins then says he had to do the right thing. Rollins then looks to the stage and tells Punk to get well soon. Rollins then adds the sooner Punk gets healthy, the sooner he can retire him, so he wishes him a speedy recovery. Rollins then welcomes the fans to Monday Night Rollins and says things got crazy at Bad Blood. Rollins then says he’s back on RAW to destroy Bronson Reed for taking him out a few months back, then sends a message to him and says if Reed was looking to make a name for himself, he certainly did that. Rollins then tells Reed that he’ll give him the 15 minutes of fame that he wants, then challenges him to a match at any time and place of his choosing. Rollins then warns Reed that he’ll be expecting him this time unlike the last. Rollins’ music then plays.

WWE Intercontinental Champion “Main Event” Jey Uso’s entrance music then plays and cuts off Seth’s theme. The Intercontinental Champion then makes his way down to the ring. Rollins stands in the ring with his arms crossed. Rollins then looks at Jey’s title belt for a moment and then leaves the ring. Jey then plays to the crowd for a bit. Tessitore and Barrett are then shown at their desk. Tessitore points out a “St. Lou Yeet” fan sign behind them while Barrett acts annoyed by it. Xavier Woods then makes his way down to the ring for the first match of the night with his New Day partner Kofi Kingston.

WWE Intercontinental Championship Match: “Main Event” Jey Uso (c) vs. The New Day’s Xavier Woods

The match starts off with Jey sending Woods crashing into the corner, then hitting with an enzuigiri. Both men then brawl on the apron and Woods sends Jey crashing onto the floor, then hits him with a Fireman’s Carry slam. Jey then delivers some right hands on Woods. Woods then responds with one of his own, but Jey hits him with another right hand. Both men then continue going back and forth and Woods nails Jey with a superkick and goes for a pin, but Jey kicks out. Woods then climbs to the top and flies, but Jey nails him with a superkick and an Uso Splash off the top for the win.

After the match, Jey and Kingston help Woods up. Jey then hugs Kingston and offers Woods his hand, but Woods opts not to shake it and heads to the back with Kingston frustrated. Bron Breakker then appears and spears Jey. Kingston then encourages Woods to help Jey, but Woods opts against it. Kingston then slides in the ring and looks to take down Breakker, but Breakker hits Kingston with a spear and hits a second one on Woods on the outside. Breakker then gets in the ring and hits a spear on Jey, then holds up the Intercontinental Championship.

We then get a pre-taped promo from Rhea Ripley. Ripley says she should have seen it coming at Bad Blood. Ripley then says Liv Morgan couldn’t beat her on her own. Ripley then says Morgan needed Raquel Rodriguez. Ripley then says she just needs to go through the both of them.

We then see a logo of a returning star or stars and the letters PFR appeared on the screen.

We then head to the back, where Jackie Redmond catches up with Bron Breakker and says everyone is confused because he showed Jey Uso respect a week ago. Redmond then asks Breakker what’s going on. Breakker looks at her and walks away. Redmond then says it seems like Breakker had a change of heart.

We then get highlights from WWE Bad Blood of Paul “Triple H” Levesque introducing the Crown Jewel Championship.

Tessitore and Barrett are shown talking at their desk. Barrett tries to bring up Kevin Owens attacking Cody Rhodes after Bad Blood. Tessitore then cuts him off and reads the tweet from Paul Levesque about how the matter would be dealt with internally.

We then get a shot of “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes walking backstage with his title belt in hand. The feed then cuts out and commentary says they have technical issues.

We then get a video package on Sheamus and Pete Dunne to set up their Donnybrook match.

Sheamus then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night.

We then head to the back, where Karrion Kross is shown speaking with The Miz. Kross says there is no Miz and Final Testament. A Wyatt Sicks symbol then flashes. Miz then says he did what he did to R-Truth for himself. R-Truth then shows up and says he has been texting Miz. Truth then says Miz is confused because he’s not in The Judgment Day anymore. Truth then says he forgives Miz. Miz then says Awesome Truth is done. Truth then takes issue with Miz attacking him on purpose. Kross then speaks and Truth says he will fix it by going to Adam Pearce. Miz then stops him and challenges Truth to face him in a match on next week’s show.

Pete Dunne then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night.

Good Ol’ Fashioned Donnybrook Match: “The Celtic Warrior” Sheamus vs. “The Bruiserweight” Pete Dunne

The match starts off with Sheamus wasting no time in delivering some right hands on Dunne in the corner. Dunne then hits a kick on Sheamus’ thigh, but Sheamus turns him inside out with a clothesline. Sheamus then uses a shillelagh to target Dunne’s mouth, then hits him with an Alabama Slam and sends him out of the ring. Sheamus then looks to hit a Brogue Kick on Dunne, but Dunne avoids it and sends him crashing into a barrel on the outside. Dunne then hits a Tornado DDT. on Sheamus and hits a boot on the side of Sheamus’ head, but Sheamus hits a powerslam on Dunne that sends him crashing into the announce desk spine first. Dunne then wears Sheamus down with the shillelagh. Sheamus then grabs the shillelagh and blasts it across Dunne’s midsection, then sets up for The Ten Beats of the Bodhran. Dunne then avoids it, but Sheamus hits him with an Irish Curse Backbreaker. Both men then end up on top of a few of the barrels on the outside and Sheamus hits The Ten Beats of the Bodhran on Dunne. Sheamus then hits Dunne with the White Noise off them through a couple of tables set up beneath them and sends Dunne back in the ring. Sheamus then hits the Celtic Cross on Dunne and goes for a pin, but Dunne kicks out. Dunne then nails a cricket bat across Sheamus’ spine and goes for a pin, but Sheamus kicks out. Dunne then grabs a drawer from the bar top at ringside and uses it to hit Sheamus with it, then zip ties Sheamus’ hands behind his back and hits a boot on his face. Dunne then goes for a pin, but Sheamus manages to kick out. Dunne then grabs a cricket bat and looks to hit Sheamus with it, but Sheamus hits Dunne with a couple of Brogue Kicks for the win.

We then head to the back, where Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes is being interviewed by Cathy Kelley. Cody says he couldn’t speculate on what happened at Bad Blood and he is sure we will hear more about it on Smackdown. Cody then says he is just there to find out what it takes to be the first Crown Jewel Champion. Cody then walks away and crosses paths with Sami Zayn. Zayn tells Cody that he plans to be the person he will face at Crown Jewel. Zayn then tries to bring up what happened with Kevin Owens, but Cody cuts him off and says they don’t have to talk about that now. Cody then says he hopes he faces Zayn and wishes him good luck.

Commentary then sets up a video package featuring last week’s Last Monster Standing Match and says that it was so violent that Bronson Reed nor Braun Strowman are on RAW tonight.

We then get video footage from earlier in the day of Raquel Rodriguez driving a black SUV into the arena parking garage. Rodriguez then opens the rear door and Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan exits the vehicle. Jackie Redmond then approaches Morgan and asks her for a comment on Rhea Ripley. Morgan says Ripley may have technically beat her by disqualification, but she still has her title and Dominik. Redmond then tries to ask Rodriguez if she’s a member of The Judgment Day, but Morgan cuts her off. The three of them then decide to leave the venue.

We then see RAW General Manager Adam Pearce backstage speaking with NXT General Manager Ava when Ethan Page interrupts. Page says CM Punk cost him the NXT Championship when he was the special referee during last week’s match. Pearce then says he didn’t appoint Punk as special referee. Ava then says she is so flattered that Page came all the way to St. Louis just to confront her. Ava then says it is so sweet and she would like to hear him yap like he does every week, but she is off the clock. Page then asks what she is doing there. Sexyy Red then shows up and hugs Ava and Pearce. Page then offers Red a handshake. Red then shakes his hand and asks how he is doing. Page then says he’s done better and walks away.

We then get the entrances of the next match of the night.

10-Woman Tag Team Match: Pure Fusion Collective (Sonya Deville, Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark) and The Unholy Union (Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn) vs. Natalya, Lyra Valkyria, Kayden Carter, Katana Chance and LWO’s Zelina Vega

The match starts off with Kayden Carter and Zoey Stark. Stark runs over Carter. Everyone then begins brawling with each other. Chance and Carter then fly to land on Stark, Isla Dawn and Shayna Baszler. Natalya then looks to follow suit, but Sonya Deville trips her as she runs the ropes and sends her crashing into the ring steps. Vega then tags in and hits a boot on Stark’s midsection. Vega then follows it up with a Scissor Kick and a hurricanrana off the middle rope, but Stark responds with a superkick. Vega then hits Stark with a moonsault off the ropes and pins her, but the fall gets broken up. Valkyria and Deville then tag in and Valkyria hits a leg drop on the back of Deville’s head for the win.

The winners of the 10-Woman Tag Team Match, Natalya, Lyra Valkyria, Kayden Carter, Katana Chance and LWO’s Zelina Vega!

The Crown Jewel poster featuring Cody Rhodes vs. GUNTHER and Nia Jax vs. Liv Morgan is then shown. Tessitore says it could change if Sami Zayn beats GUNTHER for the World Heavyweight Championship.

We then get a video package on the build to the GUNTHER vs. Sami Zayn Match and Sami Zayn makes his way down to the ring for the main event.

We then get a video package, where WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill are talking about defending their WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles against IYO SKY and Kairi Sane on next week’s show.

Joe Tessitore then hypes a video premiere for “It’s Supposed To Hurt” featuring footage from the CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre Hell in a Cell match.

The lineup for next week’s episode of WWE RAW is then announced.

WWE World Heavyweight Champion “The Ring General” GUNTHER then makes his way down to the ring for the main event.

WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match: Imperium’s “The Ring General” GUNTHER (c) vs. Sami Zayn

The match starts off with both men taking turns in wearing each other down with submission holds and Zayn sends GUNTHER out of the ring and looks to fly. GUNTHER then sees Zayn coming, but Zayn stops his momentum before he is sent crashing into something. GUNTHER then drapes Zayn across the top turnbuckle and hits a chop across his chest. Zayn then looks to fly, but GUNTHER nails him with a chop across his chest and hits him with a second one. GUNTHER then hits three boots on Zayn’s jaw, but Zayn responds with a kick on GUNTHER’s jaw and looks to hit a Blue Thunder Bomb. GUNTHER then blocks Zayn and cinches in a Sleeper on him, but Zayn quickly escapes. GUNTHER then locks in another Sleeper on Zayn, but Zayn escapes once again and hits GUNTHER with a spinning sit out powerbomb. GUNTHER then sends Zayn crashing into the mat and hits him with a couple of chops. The action then spills out of the ring and Zayn hits a back body drop on GUNTHER. Zayn then follows it up with an Exploder into the barricade and a Helluva Kick, then sends GUNTHER back in the ring and follows him in there. Zayn then hits a Helluva Kick on GUNTHER and looks to hit a second one, but GUNTHER sees him coming and nails him with a clothesline. GUNTHER then goes for a pin, but Zayn kicks out. Zayn then rolls up GUNTHER, but GUNTHER kicks out and dropkicks Zayn into the corner. GUNTHER then follows it up with a powerbomb and goes for a pin of his own, but Zayn kicks out. GUNTHER then hits another powerbomb on Zayn and pins him, but Zayn quickly kicks out and gets fired up. GUNTHER then locks in a Sleeper on Zayn and Zayn passes out.

After the match, commentary recaps some highlights from the match. GUNTHER then holds his right wrist as he walks to the stage. GUNTHER then holds his championship over his head. Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes’ music then plays and Rhodes walks onto the stage and goes face-to-face with a smirking GUNTHER as the show comes to a close.
