Monday Night RAW is WWE’s flagship program, and the company is working hard to maintain its momentum by assembling a high-profile card for the October 7th episode with several solid matches.
GUNTHER will defend his World Heavyweight Championship against Sami Zayn in a singles match this Monday. This showdown is a rematch from WrestleMania 40 but for a different title and it’s undoubtedly a highly anticipated match as many feel Zayn might just defeat GUNTHER again.
Jey Uso will put his Intercontinental Championship on the line against Xavier Woods of the New Day in a singles match. This will be Jey’s first title defense, and it’s a crucial opportunity for Woods, so neither of them can afford to lose the match and fans are excited to see who will pick up the win.
After weeks of sneak attacks involving weapons, Sheamus will face Pete Dunne in a Good Ol’ Fashioned Donnybrook Match. This match has no disqualifications and includes an Irish theme, allowing the use of various weapons and fans wonder if this will signal the end of their feud, once and for all.
Seth Rollins has been out of action since early August after dealing with the aftermath of multiple brutal attacks from Bronson Reed. However, Rollins made a surprise return on the September 30th episode of Raw. During Reed’s Last Monster Standing match against Braun Strowman, Rollins delivered a devastating stomp to Reed, helping Strowman secure the win. Rollins is now set to make an appearance on Raw this week and continue his feud with Bronson Reed.
