In a backstage segment on the October 7, 20204 WWE Raw, The Miz officially cemented his heel turn by doubling down on his recent betrayal of long-time friend R-Truth. This storyline kicked off last week when The Miz shockingly turned on R-Truth during their match against the Authors of Pain, with Karrion Kross lurking at ringside.

In tonight’s episode, Karrion Kross, who has been attempting to assert his manipulative influence over the locker room in recent weeks, was seen speaking with The Miz. During their conversation, R-Truth interrupted, extending forgiveness to Miz, assuming his friend had simply made a mistake the previous week.

Truth, ever the optimist, reminded The Miz that he wasn’t a part of The Judgment Day and assured him he was still willing to help by securing Miz a match. However, The Miz had no intention of seeking redemption, making it clear that his betrayal was no accident. He bluntly told R-Truth that his turn against him was entirely intentional, and that he already had plans for his own future match.

The tension between the two former friends will come to a head next week, as WWE has confirmed that The Miz and R-Truth will face off in a highly anticipated match on the October 14th edition of WWE Raw. The episode, set to be pre-taped at tonight’s live show, promises to be a must-watch as their heated rivalry continues to unfold.
