Mickie James spent the last few years competing in TNA before leaving the promotion last year. She had not been part of WWE’s active roster for a while, but she did make an appearance at Bad Blood this week, and now she admitted that she missed the company and its fans.
The six-time Women’s Champion parted ways with WWE in 2021. Her husband, Nick Aldis, later joined the company and took on the role of SmackDown’s General Manager last year.
During the Bad Blood Premium Live Event, Cathy Kelley interviewed the three hosts for the night: Naomi and the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair. As the camera moved through the VIP suite, fans caught glimpses of several well-known wrestling figures, including former AEW stars Tully Blanchard and Arn Anderson. The two legends were seen socializing with other stars like Mickie James, X-Pac, DDP, and even Jey Uso.
Later, Mickie James was spotted in the audience alongside Scott Steiner and DDP, adding to the star power of the event. James blew a kiss to the camera, making it clear that she was happy to be back.
The legendary professional wrestler took to Twitter following the conclusion of the Bad Blood Premium Live Event and stated that she missed WWE and all of her fans as she included a selfie of herself for good measure.
”Ps… I’ve missed you too ♥️🤠🙏🏼 @WWE #WWEBadBlood #HardcoreCountry”
Mickie James had not been seen on WWE television since her appearance at the 2022 Women’s Royal Rumble match. Nonetheless, fans were definitely happy to see her back after so long, so it remains to be seen whether James will end up signing with WWE again in the future.
