WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan recently shared a wild story about her close friend, former WWE Superstar CJ Perry, almost burning down her house while attempting to do something kind. The two have been friends for years, frequently sharing their adventures together on social media, but this memory definitely stands out for its unexpected drama.
During a Fanatics Fest autograph session, Liv Morgan revealed that CJ Perry nearly caused a disaster in her home while trying to make dinner for her a few weeks ago. According to Morgan, Perry accidentally set the oven to broil instead of bake while heating taco shells, causing a fire in the oven. Morgan, who was away at RAW at the time, had to rush home early to put out the fire.
“I put out a fire in my house a couple of weeks ago when I had a friend over named CJ, who wanted to make me dinner. She was trying to do something nice by heating taco shells, but she accidentally put them on broil instead of bake, causing the whole oven to catch on fire. So I flew home early from RAW and put out the fire,” Morgan explained with a laugh.
Fans are well aware of the close bond between Liv Morgan and CJ Perry, with their antics often shared on social media. Despite the scare, it’s clear their friendship remains strong, and they continue to make memories together—thankfully with no lasting damage to Morgan’s house.
As for CJ Perry, she recently parted ways with AEW and is no longer part of the company. Fans are now speculating whether she might make a return to WWE, where she could reunite with Morgan on a professional level. Hopefully, if that happens, Perry will steer clear of any further kitchen mishaps.
