Dominik Mysterio Addresses Potentially Facing CM Punk

Dominik Mysterio has made a name for himself as one of WWE’s top heels, thriving in his role over the past four years. The former NXT North American Champion has shared the ring with several of WWE’s top stars, including Andrade, Rey Mysterio, and Trick Williams. However, there’s still one major name that Dominik hasn’t yet faced on WWE television: CM Punk.

During a recent autograph session at Fanatics Fest, Dominik was asked directly about a potential showdown with CM Punk. He didn’t mince words when addressing the possibility, saying, “I hope so. I hate CM Punk.”

Despite the strong words, Dominik and Punk have only faced off in non-televised live events, including a match during the post-Christmas shows at Madison Square Garden last year. However, they have never competed on WWE television, leaving the door open for a future rivalry between the two.

Given the intensity of Dominik’s heel persona and Punk’s status as one of wrestling’s most polarizing figures, a program between the two could be highly anticipated. While nothing has been officially set, fans would no doubt be excited to see Dominik and CM Punk square off on WWE programming.
