Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley, known as the “Terror Twins,” may be heading in different directions after their recent success in WWE.

Following the implosion of The Judgment Day at SummerSlam, Priest and Ripley had joined forces to seek revenge on their former faction. However, a significant update has emerged regarding their partnership, suggesting that their days as an on-screen duo could be winding down.

The two superstars first aligned after being kicked out of The Judgment Day by their former allies at SummerSlam. Their bond grew stronger, and they became a force to be reckoned with, even teaming up at Bash in Berlin where they defeated Dominik Mysterio in a mixed tag team match. Though they had separate singles matches at WWE Bad Blood 2024, the pair continued to support each other leading up to the event. WWE even released footage of the duo training together, solidifying their dynamic as a formidable unit.

However, during the Bad Blood post-show press conference, Damian Priest hinted that it may be time for both he and Ripley to pursue their own paths in WWE. When asked about potentially forming another faction with Ripley, Priest explained that while their partnership was beneficial, they’ve each grown into main-event-level stars.

“The idea of The Judgment Day was to grab some talent that were capable of being main eventers… but for whatever reason, we weren’t there. We got together to push each other, and Rhea and I achieved that,” Priest said. “While it was fun as far as doing it with your friends, at the same time there is something to ‘alright, now I’m here, now let’s see what I can do on my own.’”

Priest was quick to emphasize that Ripley remains his best friend, but acknowledged that they must follow their own individual paths in WWE, with Ripley excelling in the women’s division and Priest in the men’s.

At Bad Blood, Priest secured a victory over his former Judgment Day partner Finn Balor, a moment of redemption after Balor cost him the World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam. Meanwhile, Ripley challenged Liv Morgan for the Women’s World Championship but the match ended in disqualification when a returning Raquel Rodriguez attacked Ripley mid-match.

While the future of their on-screen alliance remains unclear, Priest’s comments suggest that both he and Ripley are ready to see what they can accomplish on their own, without relying on their partnership.
