The feud between Bronson Reed and Braun Strowman has become increasingly intense and chaotic. Their recent matches have been filled with destruction, leading to a major showdown on RAW last week. After this bout, Strowman has now confirmed that he sustained a groin injury.

During the September 30 WWE RAW in Evansville, Indiana, Braun Strowman faced Bronson Reed in a much-anticipated Last Monster Standing match. The match was chaotic from start to finish and even caused the ring to break down. In the final moments, Seth Rollins made a surprise return to WWE television, delivering a powerful curb stomp to Reed, which allowed Strowman to win the match.

While speaking on Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez reported that Braun Strowman suffered a torn groin during the match. Alvarez explained that after a commercial break, Strowman was hit with a Samoan Drop by Reed, which made him grab his thigh and groin area. Despite the injury, Strowman continued to wrestle but struggled to walk along the ropes and was noticeably limping.

“I did get it confirmed – if you watched the Raw show last night, the Last Monster Standing match. They went to a commercial break, and they came back, and Braun Strowman got hit by Bronson Reed with a Samoan Drop. Braun Strowman grabbed his thigh/groin area, and then they were gonna do a spot where he knocked Bronson Reed off the apron through some chairs. (Strowman) starts running, and I knew immediately, this guy’s hurt. He normally can’t run all that fast, but he couldn’t even walk the ropes – he was limping the ropes. He knocks (Reed) off the apron and there was a long period where he just kind of laid there in the corner and the ref’s furiously communicating with the back. He may have torn his groin is what it’s looking like. That’s certainly what they thought yesterday.”

The Monster Among Men took to his Instagram and shared an update after taking a few days to assess his situation, revealing he tore his groin just two minutes into the Last Monster Standing match on RAW. Despite the injury, he pushed through the pain to show the world that he was still the Monster of All Monsters. He also included photos of his injury, as there was visible bruising on his leg.

”Even Monsters Bleed!!!!! #StillStanding After waiting a few days to see how this was gonna end up. This is where we’re at!! Tore my Groin 2 minutes into the Last Monster Standing Match last week on #Raw and pained my way through that son of a bitch. To yet again reminded the world I am The #MonsterOfAllMonsters”

It’s unclear if Braun Strowman will need a long time away from wrestling. Only time will reveal what happens next for him, but it is quite evident that Braun Strowman will not be back in the ring anytime soon, especially after seeing how badly bruised his leg is.

Do you believe it's simply unfortunate that Braun Strowman suffered a groin injury when he had so much momentum on WWE television? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comment section below.
