Vince McMahon’s personal life has long been a topic of intrigue, and his on-screen character, Mr. McMahon, was often portrayed as romantically involved with various women. However, in real life, McMahon has admitted to having affairs during his marriage to Linda McMahon. Despite this, Paul Heyman believes that Vince McMahon has only ever had one truly monogamous relationship: with the business he built.

Speaking on the Netflix series Mr. McMahon, Heyman explained, “Vince McMahon has had one truly monogamous relationship in his entire life, and that’s with the business that he built. That’s his passion. That’s his love. That’s his master. Vince doesn’t own the business. This business owns Vince McMahon. He super serves it with his heart and his passion and his life. If that hurts his wife’s feelings, Stephanie’s feelings, Shane’s feelings, his father’s feelings, or his own feelings, those people be damned.”

While the Mr. McMahon series discusses Vince’s affairs, Linda McMahon chose not to address them directly in the documentary. The six-part series delves deep into Vince’s life, focusing on his relationship with the wrestling industry, his controversies, and his rise to power. All six episodes are now streaming on Netflix.

In addition to the documentary revelations, Vince McMahon has faced legal challenges outside the ring. In January, Janel Grant, a former WWE employee, filed a lawsuit against McMahon, WWE, and John Laurinaitis, accusing McMahon of sexual assault and sex trafficking. On May 30, Grant agreed to pause the lawsuit for six months as a federal investigation into McMahon continues. The lawsuit led to McMahon’s resignation from his roles within WWE and TKO.
