The October 4 WWE SmackDown featured the return of AJ Styles and fans were excited to see what he would do during the show. As it turns out, he made many people worry after possibly suffering an injury during SmackDown and now the legitimacy of the injury has been revealed.

AJ Style came out and cut a heartfelt promo to the WWE Universe but he was rudely interrupted by Carmelo Hayes. It eventually led to a match between the two and fans were very excited for it.

The match started with high stakes, but it took an unexpected turn when AJ Styles appeared to injure his foot midway through. The injury led to the match being called off, giving Carmelo the win by forfeit. However, Carmelo’s night didn’t end there, as LA Knight made a statement by hitting him with a post-match BFT.

Despite the supposed injury, Styles managed to limp out of the ring on his own before receiving medical attention. Later, he was spotted using crutches, leaving fans concerned about the severity of his injury.
