Darby Allin’s open challenge opponent for AEW WrestleDream has finally been revealed.
During the October 3rd taping of AEW Collision, Allin reiterated his open challenge for the October 12 pay-per-view event in his home state of Washington after his match against Johnny TV.
As Darby reached the stage, Brody King of the House of Black blindsided him with an attack, confirming that King would be stepping up to face Allin at the event.
The two competitors have a long history, having feuded in 2022 as both singles competitors and in faction battles between House of Black and the team of Sting & Darby Allin. Their rivalry saw Darby ultimately triumph, but it appears that Brody King is ready to reignite the feud and settle the score once again.
The card for AEW WrestleDream 2024 on October 12 is shaping up to be an exciting event with championship matches and fierce rivalries. Here’s the current lineup:
