AEW recorded the highly anticipated October 5th edition of AEW Collision from the Huntington Center in Toledo, Ohio, on October 3rd. The action-packed night delivered some solid matchups, and here are the spoiler results:
Darby Allin beat Johnny TV and then challenged anyone backstage to face him at WrestleDream. No one came out, so as Allin was leaving, Brody King attacked him on the stage.
Christian Cage came out and called himself the next AEW Champion but refused to sign for his title match in Toledo, calling it a bad place. He also revealed that Nick Wayne would be competing later that night.
The Outrunners won their match against the Grizzled Young Veterans. Willow Nightingale defeated Trish Adora, and after the match, Mariah May, who was sitting in the front row, tried to slap Willow. Willow pulled her over the railing, and they fought until Mariah ran to the back.
Wheeler Yuta beat Beef by making him submit with a move called the Cattle Mutilation.
In a tag team match, Orange Cassidy and Kyle O’Reilly defeated Tony Nese and Ari Daivari. Josh Woods got involved, which brought out Mark Briscoe.
Hologram won a four-way match by pinning Action Andretti.
Kris Statlander then beat Zoey Lynn in a singles match. Afterwards, Mercedes Mone and Kamille came out. Mone called herself the face of the women’s division and sent Kamille into the ring to attack Statlander.
Private Party won a big 3-way tag team match against both The House of Black and Top Flight. This concluded the tapings.
