In January, Cora Jade suffered a torn ACL at a WWE NXT live event and she immediately underwent surgery for the same and fans expected she would have been out for the entire year. That wasn’t the case as she returned during NXT this week and now the internal reaction to her return has been revealed.

On the October 1 edition of NXT, Roxanne Perez defended her NXT Women’s Championship against Giulia in a highly anticipated match. Both wrestlers fought hard, with several close moments where either could have won.

However, the match took a surprising twist when someone in a hooded sweatshirt rushed into the ring and attacked Giulia. This interference allowed Roxanne to capitalize and retain her title. Later, it was revealed that the mystery attacker was Cora Jade, who made a shocking return after being out of action for a long time due to an injury.

On WrestleVotes Radio on Backstage Pass, JoeyVotes and TC talked about Cora Jade’s prominent role during NXT’s debut on the CW Network and the reaction to her return. According to the report, WWE had high hopes for Cora Jade before her injury and now have major plans for her following her return to NXT.
