CW Network’s Reaction to WWE NXT Debut Ratings for 10/1 Show Revealed

The October 1 edition of NXT was a huge milestone as it debuted on the CW Network, bringing a lot of excitement for fans. The October 1st episode of NXT secured 895,000 viewers with 0.26 in the coveted 18-49 demographic and this marked NXT’s highest ratings in almost a year. Naturally, fans were very happy with this rating as well.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, the October 1 edition of NXT was a huge success on the CW Network, achieving the highest ratings the channel had seen in a long time. The previous week, reruns of The Conners were pulling in around 300-400K viewers, but NXT surpassed that by a wide margin. CW officials were thrilled with the numbers, as they would have been satisfied with 500K viewers, but the actual figure exceeded their expectations, leading to celebrations.
