The October 1 edition of NXT was a huge milestone as it debuted on the CW Network, bringing a lot of excitement for fans. The show was packed with engaging moments and storylines to keep viewers entertained throughout the night, making it a memorable first episode on its new network. In fact, the CW Network’s reaction to the ratings for this week’s episode of NXT has also been revealed.

This week’s episode featured Cora Jade making her shocking return to help Roxanne Perez retain her NXT Women’s Championship against Giulia, Trick Williams winning the NXT Championship after defeating Ethan Page and more moments.

The October 1st episode of NXT secured 895,000 viewers with 0.26 in the coveted 18-49 demographic and this marked NXT’s highest ratings in almost a year. Naturally, fans were very happy with this rating as well.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, the October 1 edition of NXT was a huge success on the CW Network, achieving the highest ratings the channel had seen in a long time. The previous week, reruns of The Conners were pulling in around 300-400K viewers, but NXT surpassed that by a wide margin. CW officials were thrilled with the numbers, as they would have been satisfied with 500K viewers, but the actual figure exceeded their expectations, leading to celebrations.
