Cody Rhodes is excited about what the upcoming Netflix deal could mean for WWE, as the company continues its hot streak in the business world.

While WWE has been moving tickets at an impressive rate, Rhodes believes there’s still room for the company to grow even more, with the ultimate goal of becoming as big as some of America’s top sports leagues.

Speaking on The Pat McAfee Show, the Undisputed WWE Champion shared his belief that Netflix could be a major factor in pushing WWE closer to that mainstream goal.

“Netflix is going to be huge for us … We’re going up in terms of our public spotlight,” Rhodes explained. He compared WWE’s rise to the success of college football and the NFL, calling them the biggest forces in sports. “We’re moving up and trying to get in that air. If you know anything about what we’re doing, we’re not far off. Netflix, I think, is definitely a big part of that.”

With Monday Night Raw set to make its official debut on Netflix in 2025, Rhodes sees this partnership as a game-changer for WWE. The 10-year, $5 billion deal with Netflix is expected to increase the company’s visibility and help position WWE alongside the most prominent sports leagues in the world.

As WWE continues to ride its momentum, Rhodes is eager to see how the Netflix deal will further push the company toward mainstream success, cementing its place as a global sports entertainment powerhouse.
