After the announcement of AEW’s new multi-platform, multi-year media rights deal with Warner Bros. Discovery on October 2, new details have emerged regarding the future of Ring of Honor TV.

The newly inked multi-platform, multi-year deal will see AEW Dynamite and Collision continue to air on TNT and TBS, with an added simulcast on MAX. For the first time, both shows and their libraries will also be available on the streaming platform. However, questions about ROH TV’s broadcast future remain unresolved.

Prior to the deal’s finalization, WBD affiliate TruTV was rumored to be involved in AEW’s content distribution, with speculation pointing to TruTV as a potential home for Ring of Honor programming.

According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, TruTV was indeed considered as part of the deal. Meltzer noted, “I do know that TruTV was in the hunt, so the idea of Ring of Honor on TruTV did make sense.” However, despite the discussions, ROH TV will continue to air on Honor Club for now, maintaining its status quo.

The future of ROH TV remains uncertain beyond Honor Club, but with AEW’s expanding reach through Warner Bros. Discovery, it’s possible ROH could secure a bigger platform down the road. Whether it ends up on TruTV or another network, fans are eager to see where ROH lands next. Fans can still catch ROH TV every Thursday at 7 p.m. Eastern on Honor Club.
