The viewership numbers for the October 2nd special episode of AEW Dynamite on TBS have been released and this will certainly lead to a lot of discussions among fans once again.

According to PWTorch, this week’s show drew 680,000 viewers, with a 0.20 rating in the key 18-49 demographic. This marks a decrease from last week’s episode, which attracted 702,000 viewers with the same 0.23 demo rating.

This week’s episode of AEW Dynamite was the 5-year anniversary of the show and saw Jay White make his shocking return to attack Adam Page, Shelton Benjamin making his debut, Will Ospreay and Ricochet having a classic match and many other memorable moments through the show.

Fans will likely be surprised by the viewership numbers, especially since the show had a strong lineup and marked the 5-year anniversary of Dynamite. However, many are hopeful that AEW Dynamite will improve its ratings in the future.
