AEW is celebrating a massive milestone – five years of AEW Dynamite! Launched in 2019, the wrestling world hasn’t been the same since, with AEW bringing in top talent from the indie scene like Cody Rhodes, The Young Bucks, and Hangman Page. But the real game-changer? Chris Jericho, who left WWE and joined AEW to help the fledgling promotion make its mark.

Speaking about AEW’s five-year journey, Tony Khan gave major credit to Jericho. In a recent interview with Q93, Khan said, “I don’t know if it would have been possible for us to launch AEW without Chris Jericho’s involvement and he’s been a fixture and a great part of AEW throughout the five years.” Jericho made history as the first-ever AEW World Champion and has remained one of the company’s biggest stars.

Now in 2024, Jericho continues to dominate, leading Big Bill and Bryan Keith under his latest faction, “The Learning Tree.” Even after five years, Jericho’s influence in AEW is undeniable as he mentors the next generation of wrestling talent.

With AEW Dynamite airing every Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET, Ringside News has you covered with live updates and all the latest highlights from the show, which you can check out in our results section.
