Taz Attacked Before AEW Dynamite Fifth Anniversary Show

AEW shocked fans on Wednesday by announcing that Taz had been attacked in the parking lot before AEW Dynamite. Due to the incident, the wrestling legend will be unable to fulfill his commentary duties for tonight’s episode.

According to AEW, Taz is currently being treated by doctors, and while his condition is being monitored, Nigel McGuinness will step in to replace him on commentary for the night.

“This afternoon @OfficialTAZ was attacked in the parking lot and cannot announce Tonight’s #AEWDynamite 5th Anniversary. Taz is being treated by doctors, @McGuinnessNigel is en route to Pittsburgh & will call tonight’s episode.”
