AEW saw a historic day with a new television deal on October 2, and they also presented a big episode of Dynamite that night. You never know who will show up when Tony Khan books a big show, and this week’s show included a notable debut.

MVP showed up at AEW for his debut during their September 25 Dynamite in Arthur Ashe Stadium. That was quite a surprise for Grand Slam, but MVP was back for their 5-year anniversary show for even more. It was promoted that he had a big announcement for fans.

During this week’s episode of Dynamite, MVP had a backstage segment where he gave his business card to Mercedes Mone. Later on, MVP was trying to cut another promo backstage when Prince Nana interrupted him. Nana offered to lace up his boots and take care of MVP. That is when MVP had a big surprise.

MVP revealed that he doesn’t take care of complaints, but Shelton Benjamin does. Then the camera panned over to reveal Shelton Benjamin is a part of AEW. That was a big shock for fans, and it appears that Bobby Lashley is the only missing piece at this point.

We will have to see what happens next in this situation. Naturally, fans are betting on a Hurt Business reunion of some kind, because at this point, Cedric Alexander is the only member of the former faction that is still under WWE contract. So, MVP, Shelton Benjamin and Bobby Lashley may find themselves back together soon enough.

Shelton Benjamin has remained pretty quiet in the pro wrestling scene since his WWE release. Now, it appears that he is All Elite. It was reported in September that MVP, Shelton Benjamin, and Bobby Lashley were all in discussions with AEW, although the deals had not been finalized at that time.

Sean Ross Sapp has now reported on Fightful Select that Shelton Benjamin and Bobby Lashley have signed deals with AEW, and Lashley is expected to debut for the company soon. It was further reported that the three finalized their deals several weeks ago. MVP is anticipated to primarily serve as a manager, while Shelton and Bobby Lashley will focus on wrestling.

Only time will tell when Bobby Lashley will finally make his debut for AEW, but it appears to be in the cards. Keep checking back with Ringside News for more on this developing story.
