Sammy Guevara Suffers Apparent Injury Before 10/2 AEW Dynamite

AEW had a historic day as they announced a new television deal with Warner Bros Discovery. This was followed by a big 5-year anniversary special on TBS. However, before the show kicked off, it appears that they had an injury pop up.

Before the October 2 AEW Dynamite kicked off, Sammy Guevara and Serpentico had a match. Then Guevara went for a cutter off the ropes, and then the Spanish God did not get up. AEW personnel rushed to the ring and surrounded the pillar of AEW.

After being attended to, Sammy Guevara was led off on a stretcher. We have no update at this time regarding his status, as this is a breaking story.

This is not good news for Sammy Guevara, as he is currently 1/2 of the ROH Tag Team Champions alongside Dustin Rhodes. We’re sending out our best for Guevara at this time.
