AEW has a few stars who are out of action, but it’s always important to wait for the right moment for their comeback. While Tay Melo is still waiting for her creative direction for a return from a pregnancy hiatus, others have a longer wait like Kenny Omega, who is still recovering from diverticulitis. It appears that Jay White is also taking his time to return.

Jay White has not appeared on AEW television since his loss to Hangman Page on the July 6 AEW Collision. He has been sidelined with a foot injury, prompting adjustments to the AEW trios tag team dynamic. Meanwhile, Juice Robinson, Austin Gunn, and Colten Gunn have continued to represent the Bang Bang Gang. As Jay White approaches three months without competing in the ring, fans await his return to action.

Speaking to Liam Crowley of ComicBook, Juice Robinson provided an update on Jay White. Right now, there are no signs of his comeback, because White is “taking his time” with his return to the ring.

“Jay’s taking his time. Sometimes you got to take time in this business and come back better, and that’s what he’s doing. So of course, we’re excited for him to come back, because when all four of us are together, we feel like we are as strong as we can be, and we could take on any four wrestlers, any combination. We’re definitely, like everybody, looking forward to having King Switch back.”

It is unknown when Jay will return to television, but the former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion is certainly missed. The Bang Bang Gang has carried on in his absence, with Juice Robinson and The Gunns doing their thing.

AEW has a lot of things going on, including an impending television rights announcement with WBD. Only time will tell if Jay White is a part of the situation when Tony Khan’s company kicks off that new deal. AEW Rampage, a show that Jay White and his Bang Bang Gang have occupied many times, may be in trouble as well.

Jay White entered AEW with a lot of steam behind him, and there have been a lot of headlines about him so far. Odds are, there are many stories left to come, and you can read all about it in our official Jay White news hub.
