WWE has many titles floating around the company, and there is always the chance that they may introduce more. With so many talented women on the main roster, the idea of a secondary women’s title certainly piques the interest for many fans, and Drew McIntyre would like to see that happen.

Drew McIntyre has commented on the possibility of a secondary women’s title being introduced in WWE. This has received support from the roster already. There has been a rumor that the WWE Women’s Intercontinental and United States Championships were in the works for the main roster.

While speaking with Fox News, Drew McIntyre made it very clear that he thinks the introduction of new women’s singles titles in WWE is only a matter of time. He also believes that this is very much deserved.

“That’s (WWE midcard women’s title) certainly something that’s going to come around in the near future, and you don’t just bring titles in for the sake of bringing titles (especially) if you don’t have the adequate depth on the roster. But now, to watch just how far the women’s revolution has come – the revolution is such a distant memory now.”

The women have been killing it for years now.” And they got that opportunity years and years ago, and since then, we’ve had so many people come in, and it’s gotten to a point where it’s not a case of you want to be after any women’s matches, you do not want to be after the women’s match anymore because they’re going to go out there, they’re going to kill it, the (crowds) are going to be burnt out, and you’re going to have to work really hard to get them.”

To watch the talent pool grow, the roster depth grow, and the characters, more importantly, connect with the audience, because if they don’t care about you, it doesn’t matter if you’re a man or a woman, nobody’s emotionally attached to you. You might as well just sit in the back and not go out there. There’s so many characters the women’s division has gotten over now. We’re at a point where if there’s a second title introduced, it’s absolutely justified.”

There were images floating around of new Women’s IC and United States Titles, but those were not legit. Those images were AI generated, as convincing as they may be. Sadly, fans are still waiting to see those titles introduced, but it may only be a matter of time.

WWE’s NXT brand did introduce a Women’s North American Title, and Kelani Jordan is a strong champion. Only time will tell if and when the main roster will get the same treatment.

Drew McIntyre is currently gearing up for what could be the biggest match of his career at Bad Blood on October 5. He will take on CM Punk in a Hell in a Cell match, and they have a lot on the line when it comes to stakes after that long rivalry.

Who do you believe would make a good first Women's IC and United States Champion in WWE? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comment section below.
