AEW announced a historic deal on October 2, and Tony Khan was quick to praise this day as one of the biggest ever for the company. This is certainly an exciting time, and the money is going to keep coming in for the Land of All Elite.

Fans were happy to finally learn that AEW finalized their television rights deal with Warner Bros Discovery. This agreement will also involve a component of MAX, which will address its pay-per-view offerings. That deal is worth a lot, and it turns out that AEW is raking in more money than previously thought.

Wrestle Votes reports that, according to a source close to the situation, AEW’s new deal with Warner Bros. Discovery is closer to $185 million per year, not the previously reported $150 million.

Although this is great news for AEW Dynamite and Collision, their Friday night show, Rampage, is expected to get the axe with this new media rights deal. The reasoning for that decision makes sense, but it seems that AEW will still be making a ton of money.

AEW also reportedly has a new Shockwave show coming to Fox. We have no idea how much that deal is worth, but there will be no shortage of programming coming out of AEW.
