WWE Planted Seeds for World Heavyweight Championship Program on 9/30 RAW

During the September 30 WWE RAW, WWE World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER made his presence felt against Sami Zayn, but he wasn’t the only one that had a conformation with GUNTHER, as the company seems to have planted seeds for a future World Title program on the show.

The Ring General and Sami Zayn had a war of words during this week’s show, as Zayn had been persistently trying to get a World Heavyweight Title shot against GUNTHER. Zayn’s plan ultimately worked after he made some personal remarks about GUNTHER’s family, leading to GUNTHER granting a World Title match.

Later on in the show, Cathy Kelley tried to interview GUNTHER and Ludwig Kaiser, but they were interrupted by Bron Breakker. Bron said he wanted to see GUNTHER for himself. GUNTHER responded by saying he thought Breakker was a badass, and Breakker responded that GUNTHER would find that out soon.

While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer talked about Bron Breakker and GUNTHER’s segment on RAW. Meltzer noted that WWE has planted the seeds for a future program between Bron Breakker and GUNTHER.

“That seems to be what they set up, that Bron [Breakker] and GUNTHER will be doing a program.”

We have also reported that Bron Breakker is set to become a babyface, so his feuding with GUNTHER is the logical next step for the young WWE Superstar. Therefore, we will have to wait and see how the company will book their feud in the coming weeks.
