The October 1st edition of WWE NXT will be a special episode of the show, marking the debut episode of the show on the CW Network. Change is truly the only constant as Booker T has now confirmed the NXT Performance Center is set to undergo a massive overhaul.
Shawn Michaels has already stated that there will be some changes to the show’s look and presentation. It was also reported that NXT is set to debut a new logo with its move to the CW Network.
While speaking on his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T talked about NXT’s upcoming premiere on The CW Network and revealed that changes to the set are in progress. He mentioned that NXT will be out of the Performance Center for about three weeks as a construction crew has come in and completely taken everything down. When they return, Booker T expects the set to look completely different and is excited to see the new setup.
“I was reading today that we’re going to be out of the PC for a couple weeks now, actually three weeks before we get back in there. I heard that they have just totally tore it down, I heard a construction crew came in and totally just took everything out. So when we get back in there, it’s supposed to look totally off the chain, totally different. I’m excited. I want to see exactly what they’re doing.”
The debut episode on The CW will take place in Chicago, Illinois and there are simply numerous matches that fans can sink their teeth into, notably Ethan Page defending the NXT Championship against Trick Williams, with CM Punk serving as the special guest referee.
We will have to wait and see just how different the WWE Performance Center will look once NXT is back to the venue in a couple of weeks, as fans are incredibly excited for all the changes that will take place soon enough.
