Serena Deeb offered exciting news about AEW’s women’s division during a recent interview with Denise Salcedo of Instinct Culture. Deeb revealed that several women wrestlers have recently been cleared to return to action, bolstering the already talented roster.

Deeb, who has been with AEW since 2020, acknowledged the division’s challenges over the years, with women continually fighting for screen time and recognition. However, she noted that the division has significantly evolved, benefiting from the arrival of stars like Toni Storm and Jamie Hayter.

“Just last week I saw, I won’t name-drop in case they need to be surprises, but there were a number of women there last week that were getting cleared,” Deeb said. “It’s really cool because right now the roster is stacked, and it’s getting ready to be even more stacked with returning-from-injury players.”

As AEW prepares to welcome back these cleared stars, the women’s division is set to become even stronger. Deeb is looking forward to her match against Britt Baker at AEW Dynamite’s Fifth Anniversary show, which she described as a full-circle moment in her career.
