The October 1st debut of WWE NXT on The CW delivered a night filled with surprises, including the potential reunion of former tag team partners Cora Jade and Roxanne Perez. Despite their tumultuous past, which included betrayal and a dramatic fallout, the former WWE NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions may be on the verge of getting back together.

In a backstage segment, Cora Jade addressed her explosive return to NXT, acknowledging the buzz surrounding Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer. However, she quickly reminded the NXT universe that she is the true “Savior of the NXT Women’s Division.” Her return, marked by a surprise attack on Giulia during the NXT Women’s Championship match, has created quite a stir.

The segment took an interesting turn when Roxanne Perez confronted Jade about her unexpected assistance. Rather than animosity, Jade complimented Perez, stating she “kinda liked” the woman Perez had become, showing a glimmer of respect for her former tag team partner.

Perez, who didn’t forget Jade’s betrayal, pointed out that a common enemy could bring them back together. This acknowledgment has fans speculating that the former champs may be poised to reunite after Jade’s infamous betrayal in July 2022, when she threw one of their tag team belts into the garbage and vacated the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship.

The potential reunion between Jade and Perez could shake up the NXT Women’s Division, especially as NXT continues to build momentum in its new era on The CW Network.

Elsewhere on tonight’s action-packed show, Jaida Parker and Lola Vice faced off against the team of Jacy Jayne and Fallon Henley, while fans are still eagerly awaiting the main event. The night will culminate in an NXT World Championship match featuring ‘All Ego’ Ethan Page defending his title against Trick Williams, with CM Punk serving as the special guest referee.

Do you think Cora Jade and Roxanne Perez will fully reunite as a tag team, or will their past stand in the way? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comment section below.
