It’s Monday night, and you know what that means! The WWE Bad Blood go-home episode of RAW will go down tonight, and Ringside News has got you covered with live play-by-play results coverage for the September 30, 2024 episode.
The start time for WWE RAW is 8:00 PM EST. Match-by-match highlights and results from the show will take place on this very page. Feel free to leave any reactions in the comment section below.
The show opens up with footage of fans waiting outside the Ford Center to enter as Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett welcomes us. CM Punk is then shown walking backstage. We then get a shot of Drew McIntyre arriving at the arena, while Braun Strowman is shown entering the building with a dog on a leash. Bronson Reed is also shown exiting an elevator.
Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett is now standing in the ring. Barrett tells the fans to enjoy the arena as it is because it will not be the same after the Last Monster Standing Match. Barrett then welcomes the fans to Monday Night RAW. Tessitore then sets up a video package recapping “Main Event” Jey Uso beating Bron Breakker to win the Intercontinental Championship on last week’s RAW.
WWE Intercontinental Champion “Main Event” Jey Uso and his son are then shown in the concourse surrounded by fans before Uso make his way down to the ring through the crowd to address the WWE Universe.
Jey Uso starts off by saying that he is now in their city. Jey then promises to be a fighting champion and fight anyone who wants a shot at his title, then says he appreciates and loves the fans. Jey then thanks the fans for their support over the years and says it is special for him to walk to the ring with his son behind him. Jey then says it was a hard ride to get to where he is today after everything he went through in The Bloodline and he was a twin for his whole wrestling career until now. Jey then says out of everyone in his life, his biggest fan is his mother. Jey then says he spoke to his mom and she told him to go out there, show everyone who he is and get the Intercontinental Championship. Jey then holds up his championship and tells his mother that they did it.
Bron Breakker’s music then hits and he makes his way down to the ring. Breakker says he is not in the ring to spoil Jey’s fun, but rather for the respect he has for the Intercontinental Championship. Breakker then says the title has a long history and after their battle last week, he has the same respect for Jey as he does for the title. Breakker then says Jey has made the importance of the title to him and his family known and Jey was the better man last week. Breakker then promises not to spear or attack Jey, then says he felt like he should be the first one to come to the ring to congratulate Jey. Breakker then extends his hand to Jey and Jey shakes it. Breakker then looks to head to the back, but Jey stops him and says with a smile that there’s some dogs in Indiana. Breakker then smiles back and exits the ring.
We then get highlights of the backstage argument between WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio and Xavier Woods that set up their match. Mysterio then makes his way down to the ring for the first match of the night as he was being introduced by ring announcer Samantha Irvin.
Joe Tessitore then notes that RAW will be reverting to two hours starting next week and will begin at the usual time.
We then get video footage from earlier in the day of Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan hanging out by the lowrider. Dominik then gets a phone call from Finn Bálor, who tells him that he was having travel issues. Bálor then says Dominik can tell Morgan that the business is taken care of. JD McDonagh and Carlito then shows up and they all walk away from the lowrider.
The New Day’s Xavier Woods then makes his way down to the ring for the first match of the night.
The match starts off with Woods hitting a dropkick on Rey and going for a pin, but Rey kicks out and sends Woods crashing into the corner. Rey then charges at Woods, but Woods hits Rey with a boot. Rey then responds with a hurricanrana and a tijeras that sends Woods crashing out of the ring, then follows it up with a senton off the apron to land on him on the outside. Rey then delivers some back elbows on Woods and sends him crashing out of the ring through the ropes. Rey then hits a springboard moonsault on Woods, then nails him with a senton off the top rope back in the ring and follows it up with a crossbody. Rey then goes for a pin, but Woods kicks out. Rey then hits some shoulders on Woods’ midsection and delivers some right hands on him in the corner, but Woods gets Rey in an Electric Chair position. Rey then escapes Woods’ grasp and hits him with a hurricanrana that sends him crashing into the ropes. Rey then dials it up for a 619, but Woods avoids it. Woods then pulls off Rey’s mask and rolls him up for the win.

We then head to the back, where we see Lyra Valkyria in her locker room when she is suddenly approached by Sonya Deville and Shayna Baszler. Deville then mentions that Valkyria has a tough match with Zoey Stark and will be out there all alone. Deville then says she won’t be alone because both she and Baszler will be there.
We then get a video of a stone and a fire symbol.
We then head to the back, where we see Kofi Kingston ask Xavier Woods if he intentionally removed Rey’s mask. Woods then gets defensive and says he will never do that. Kingston then says Jey Uso offered him an Intercontinental Title shot. Woods then says he will be by Kingston’s side while he climbs the mountain again. Kingston then tells Woods that he actually told Jey he deserves the match and Jey agreed. Woods then goes from mopey to happy and says he wants to be in Kingston’s corner for his match later in the show. Karrion Kross is then shown in the background.
We then get the entrances of the next match of the night, which is a Singles Match.
The match starts off with Stark wasting no time in going after Valkyria. Stark then sends Valkyria crashing into the corner, but Valkyria responds with an arm drag and nails her. Stark then hits a backbreaker on Valkyria, but Valkyria sends Stark crashing out of the ring and hits her with a dropkick through the middle rope. Valkyria then delivers some right hands on Stark and nails her with a crossbody. Valkyria then hits a couple of back elbows on Stark and a series of kicks, then hits her with a hurricanrana and an enzuigiri. Stark then hits a dropkick on Valkyria off the top rope and goes for a pin, but Valkyria kicks out. Stark then delivers some right hands on Valkyria, then follows it up with the Z360 for the win.

After the match, Pure Fusion Collective looks to beat Valkyria down, but Kayden Carter and Katana Chance make their way down to the ring to make the save. Carter and Chance then take down Shayna Baszler and Sonya Deville, then hit them with the Keg Stand.
We then get a Godzilla vs. King Kong style video package for Bronson Reed vs. Braun Strowman.
We then head to the back, where RAW General Manager Adam Pearce is shown lecturing the security guards about containing Reed and Strowman. We then see CM Punk walk by dressed in white and looking moody.
We then get an ad for this Friday’s SmackDown hyping the return of AJ Styles and the Triple Threat Ladder Match for the WWE Tag Team Titles.
We then head to the back, where Jackie Redmond is interviewing Lyra Valkyria, Kayden Carter and Katana Chance. Carter says the Pure Fusion Collective broke her face. Chance then says the days of her, Carter and Valkyria being known as the nice guys are finished and they will be going after the tag titles. Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn then shows up and bickers with Valkyria, Carter and Chance.
The Hell in a Cell structure is then lowered around the ring while the cage music plays. RAW General Manager Adam Pearce and several security guards are waiting inside the Hell In A Cell structure surrounding the ring. Pearce explains that there will be no physicality in the upcoming segment, then introduces CM Punk and Drew McIntyre who both make their way down to the ring.
Pearce starts off by asking Punk and McIntyre if they have any last words before their Hell In A Cell Match on Saturday, with McIntyre volunteering to go first. McIntyre points out that he is wearing black out of respect for Punk’s wife and what he’s going to do to Punk. McIntyre then says Punk will be gone thanks to him and he can talk all day if Punk doesn’t want to. McIntyre then says fans have been watching what’s happened for the last ten months and yet they still chant for Punk. McIntyre then says there was a time in his life where he had no time for hate, but Punk taught him that it’s a powerful weapon. McIntyre then says his hate will die with Punk on Saturday and leaves the ring. McIntyre then stops himself when Punk grabs a mic. Punk says he has been called a lot of things throughout his career and while he’s known as “The Voice of the Voiceless”, he is the one that’s voiceless tonight. Punk then says he’s filled with rage and been living in a hotel for the last four months so that his wife doesn’t have to see the man that he’s become because of McIntyre. Punk then says McIntyre will be begging on his knees on Saturday, praying to him. Punk then promises to see McIntyre in hell and tosses the mic.
We then head to the back, where Cathy Kelley is interviewing Braun Strowman. Strowman says he is not nervous and will remind the world why he is the Monster of all Monsters. We then see R-Truth interrupt then conversation between Braun Strowman and The Miz, with Miz looking to talk to Strowman about crashing his scheduled match against Bronson Reed last week. Strowman then leaves to prepare for his Last Monster Standing Match and Truth informs Miz that he got them a match against AI, but The Miz figures out that Truth was referring to AOP.
Judgment Day then makes their way down to the ring for the next match of the night.
We then head to the back, where Cathy Kelley asks Sami Zayn what he thinks it will take to get a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship. Zayn then takes issue with the disrespect that GUNTHER has shown him. Zayn then says you would think it wouldn’t bother him by now, but it does. Zayn then says he will not quit until he gets his title shot.
Commentary then hypes Finn Bálor vs. Damian Priest and Liv Morgan vs. Rhea Ripley for the Women’s World Championship at Bad Blood with Dominik Mysterio in as shark cage. LWO then make their way down to the ring for the next match of the night.
The match starts off with JD McDonagh and Cruz Del Toro. McDonagh nails Del Toro with a shoulder tackle, but Del Toro responds with a couple of arm drags. McDonagh then looks to hit an elbow drop on Del Toro, but Del Toro avoids it and hits McDonagh with an enzuigiri from the apron. Del Toro then hits McDonagh with a crossbody off the ropes. Joaquin Wilde and Carlito then tag in and Wilde takes Carlito, Dominik Mysterio and McDonagh down. Wilde, Dragon Lee and Del Toro then all take turns flying off the ropes to take down the three men. Dominik then hits Wilde with a variation of a neckbreaker and tags in McDonagh. Lee then tags in and hits a hurricanrana on McDonagh, then follows it up a German suplex on Dominik and a jumping knee on McDonagh. Lee then takes down Carlito. Del Toro then tags in and hits a dropkick on the three Judgment Day members who have been stacked on top of one another in the corner. Wilde then tags back in and Del Toro and Lee hold the ropes for him to fly and land on McDonagh. Lee and Del Toro then take flight themselves to take down Dominik and Carlito. Wilde then gets McDonagh back in the ring and climbs to the top, but Morgan distracts the referee as Finn Bálor pushes Wilde off the top rope. This then opens the door for McDonagh to hit The Devil Inside on Wilde for the win.
The winners of the 6-Man Tag Team Match, The Judgment Day (“Dirty” Dominik Mysterio, Carlito and JD McDonagh)!
After the match, Finn Bálor joins the other Judgment Day members in the ring for a celebration.
Bálor then grabs a mic and addresses Damian Priest. Bálor tells Priest he heard what he had to say last week about ripping out his heart, but says he doesn’t have a heart and will prove to the world at Bad Blood that Priest needed Judgment Day rather than the other way around. Morgan then says she will prove that she’s the greatest Women’s World Champion of all time when she defeats Rhea Ripley. Ripley’s music then hits and she makes her way down to the ring. Ripley tells Morgan that she was with Dominik for a long time and knows all about his secrets, then calls for the Shark Cage to be brought out and reveals that Dominik is extremely claustrophobic. Ripley then says Dominik will have the best seat in the house on Saturday when Morgan realizes that she’s not as good as her and she wins back the Women’s World Championship she never lost. Priest then appears in the ring and takes McDonagh down. Priest then delivers some right hands on Bálor in the corner as Dominik and Morgan slide out of the ring. Ripley then headbutts Morgan and sends Dominik crashing into the barricade, then sends him bouncing off the side of the Shark Cage. Morgan then runs to the back and Ripley opens up the Shark Cage. Ripley then throws Dominik in it and looks to close the door, but a fearful Dominik stops her. Morgan then blindsides Ripley as Bálor continues beating down Priest in the ring. Bálor then hits three Coup De Graces on Priest. The Judgment Day then stands over Priest.
We then get a promo video package of “The Celtic Warrior” Sheamus. Sheamus calls for one final banger with Pete Dunne in the form of a Good Old Fashioned Donnybrook Match.
American Made then make their way down to the ring for the next match of the night.
Commentary then acknowledges the death of baseball great Pete Rose at age 83. Tessitore then mentions Rose’s involvement in WWE and says he’s a WWE Hall of Famer.
The New Day then make their way down to the ring for the next match of the night.
The match starts off with Gable sending Kingston crashing into the mat. Gable then looks to hit a Monkey Flip on Kingston, but Kingston lands on his feet and hits a springboard splash on Gable. Gable then rolls out of the ring before Kingston can pin him, but Kingston looks to fly to land on him. Gable then hits Kingston with a forearm, then follows it up with a German suplex on him on the outside. Kingston then hits a dropkick on Gable. Gable then responds with a suplex and looks to hit a German suplex on Kingston. Kingston then rolls up Gable, but Gable reverses the fall and both men continue taking turns pinning one another. Gable then charges at Kingston, but Kingston hits a boot on his head. Gable then cinches in an Ankle Lock on Kingston, but Kingston escapes and looks to hit him with the Trouble In Paradise. Gable then avoids it and counters into a second Ankle Lock. Kingston then escapes and hits Gable with the SOS, then flies off the ring steps to land on American Made. Julius then looks to take a shot at Kingston, but Woods nails him. Nile then distracts the referee and Woods trips Gable as he runs the ropes. Gable then hits a Chaos Theory on Kingston for the win.

After the match, Woods acts scared and horrified that what he did to Gable backfired and tries to explain himself to Kingston.
We then head to the back, where “Big” Bronson Reed is being interviewed by Jackie Redmond. Reed congratulates Seth Rollins and says he hopes he’s coming back after Reed took months off his career. Reed then says he’ll take years off his life. Reed then apologizes to Strowman for exposing him and says he will be the last monster standing.
We then see a smirking WWE World Heavyweight Champion “The Ring General” GUNTHER walk by RAW General Manager Adam Pearce, who was giving instructions to referees and security.
We then get a Wyatt Sicks video. We see a computer screen list “We See Your Intent,” “Anger Festering Into Rage,” “Do Not Go Down This Path,” “It Ends In Your Demise” and “You Know Better” along with “Heed Our Admonition.”
WWE World Heavyweight Champion “The Ring General” GUNTHER then makes his way down to the ring to address the WWE Universe.
GUNTHER starts off by saying he loves every aspect of being World Heavyweight Champion and being the top guy, but the one thing he hates about his life is dealing with Sami Zayn every week. GUNTHER then says he couldn’t ask for anyone more annoying than Zayn. Sami Zayn’s music then hits and he makes his way down to the ring. Zayn tells GUNTHER if he finds it annoying to deal with him every single week, there’s a very easy way to put an end to everything once and for all and that is to grant him a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship. Zayn then says GUNTHER won’t do it and he knows why. Zayn then demands GUNTHER tell everyone why he won’t face him and GUNTHER says he is tried of telling him already. GUNTHER then says Zayn isn’t on his level and Zayn questions why he beat GUNTHER at WrestleMania 40 to become Intercontinental Champion. Zayn then says it bothers GUNTHER so much because he thinks that he’s better than him and he’s scared that Zayn will beat him again. GUNTHER then admits to being afraid, but of his reputation. GUNTHER then says after his legendary reign as Intercontinental Champion, he has a reputation to uphold. GUNTHER then says he was so busy making sure Zayn was embarrassed in front of his family that he embarrassed his own family. GUNTHER then reveals he flew out his family to WrestleMania, but chose not to parade them around. GUNTHER then recalls his father voicing his disappointment after he was dethroned as Intercontinental Champion, then says he doesn’t expect Zayn to understand what it’s like to have the pressure of your family on your shoulders. Zayn then says GUNTHER crumbled after he beat him in April, then points out that he never asked for a rematch and disappeared off WWE television in the following weeks all because his dad made him feel like a loser. Zayn then says GUNTHER is showing his dad that he’s a coward. GUNTHER then blindsides Zayn with an attack, then berates him. Zayn then delivers some right hands on GUNTHER in the corner and hits him with an Exploder, then looks to follow it up with the Helluva Kick. GUNTHER then puts Zayn in a Sleeper, then hits him with a powerbomb. GUNTHER then grants Zayn a World Heavyweight Championship Match and heads to the back.
Awesome Truth (The Miz and R-Truth) then make their way down to the ring for the next match of the night and The Final Testament follows.
The match starts off with R-Truth and Rezar. Truth wastes no time in going after Rezar. Truth looks to nail Rezar with shoulder tackles, but Rezar lands on his feet. Truth then hits a slam and the Five Knuckle Shuffle on Rezar, but Rezar responds by sending Truth crashing into the mat. Akam then tags in as Miz rallies the crowd, then wears Truth down before tagging Rezar back in. Miz then tags in on his side, but instead of going after Rezar, he nails Truth with a boot as Karrion Kross laughs on. Miz then storms to the back, opening the door for Authors of Pain to hit the What A Rush on Truth for the win.

Commentary then runs through the card for Saturday’s Bad Blood. A tale of the tape was then shown for the main event.
We then head to the back, where Cathy Kelley tries interviewing WWE World Heavyweight Champion “The Ring General” GUNTHER and Ludwig Kaiser but they were interrupted by Bron Breakker. Bron says he wanted to see GUNTHER for himself. GUNTHER then says he thought Breakker was a badass and Breakker says GUNTHER will find that out soon.
The lineup for next week’s episode of WWE RAW is then announced.
We then get the entrances of the main event, which is a Last Monster Standing Match.
The match starts off with Strowman hitting Reed with a clothesline. Reed then responds with a forearm, but Strowman sends him crashing into the ring steps on the outside. The referee then begins a ten count, but Reed quickly beats it. Strowman then grabs one of the ring steps and hits Reed with it twice. Strowman then drags Reed up them and sends him crashing through the announce desk. The referee then begins a ten count, but Reed beats it. Strowman then sends Reed crashing off the apron through a pile of chairs set up on the outside. The referee then begins a ten count, but Reed makes it back up to his feet before the referee can complete it. Strowman then hits Reed with a double ax handle as both men retreat up the ramp, but Reed sends Strowman crashing into the big screen and grabs a chair. Reed then looks to hit Strowman with it, but Strowman grabs it from Reed and blasts it across Reed’s spine. Strowman and Reed then find themselves on top of a road case and Reed hits a Death Valley Driver on Strowman through a couple of tables next to it. The referee then begins to count to ten, but both men make it to their feet before the referee can finish. Strowman then sends Reed crashing over a barricade and back into the ringside area.
Reed then sends Strowman crashing through one of the barricade’s near the timekeeper’s area, with the other already having been broken. The referee then begins a ten count, but Strowman beats it. Reed then sends Strowman crashing through another barricade and the referee begins another ten count, but both men make their way up to their feet before the referee can finish. Officials then make their way down to the ring to check on the fans affected by the broken barricade as Reed climbs to the top and hits a Tsunami on Strowman. Reed then calls for the referee to get back in the ring, but he’s busy dealing with the barricade issue. Reed then hits another Tsunami on Strowman and sends several security guards in the ring. Reed then pushes the referee, but Adam Pearce gets in Reed’s face. Reed then puts his hands on Pearce, but Jason Jordan and other officials look to pull him off. Strowman then flies off the top and lands on Reed, Pearce, Jordan and all the other officials. Strowman then sends Reed back in the ring and both men teeter on the ropes. Reed then hits a superplex on Strowman and the ring completely falls apart. The referee then begins a ten count, but Seth “Freakin” Rollins appears out of nowhere and hits a Curb Stomp on Reed using the ring steps to ensure he stays down. Strowman then makes it to his feet before the referee finishes the count and he is the Last Monster Standing.

After the match, Strowman celebrates his win and stands tall as Rollins looks on pleased with himself and the show comes to a close.
