The Miz Betrays R-Truth During 9/30 WWE RAW

WWE fans were treated to an unexpected return during the September 30 episode of WWE Raw, as R-Truth made his first appearance on TV since being taken out by Bronson Reed back in August.

Truth was seen in a backstage segment with The Miz and Braun Strowman, where he shared some big news: he and Miz would be teaming up against A.O.P. (Akam & Rezar) later in the night.

However, when the match began, things took a dramatic turn. Miz blindsided his old tag partner with a devastating kick to the face, leaving Truth defenseless in the ring. A.O.P. wasted no time in capitalizing on the situation, easily picking up the win.

Despite the betrayal, R-Truth and Miz would later reconcile and reunite as the duo “Awesome Truth.” The pair shocked the WWE Universe by going on to capture the Raw Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania XL. Their reign lasted two months before they eventually dropped the belts to Judgment Day’s Finn Bálor and J.D. McDonagh.
