Jade Cargill has achieved big things already in the wrestling world, but her journey in the industry is still just starting. She wants to achieve legendary status in WWE, as the company has paired her with veterans such as Naomi and Bianca Belair to get her going.

Cargill made her televised in-ring debut in early 2021, and she dominated AEW. With a remarkable 508-day reign as AEW’s TBS Champion under her belt, Cargill only saw two losses, both to Kris Statlander. However, it’s important to remember that she is still relatively new to the pro wrestling business.

In a recent discussion with HOT 97, Jade Cargill opened up about her rapid rise in wrestling, highlighting how her commercial success has led some to overlook the fact that she’s only been in the business for a few years.

“One of the hardest things is, people understanding, I am three and some change [years] in this thing, and they are comparing me to people who have been doing this for 10, 20, 15 years. And I’m out here working with these people but my name is being brought up with these great people ’cause they know. And I need people to understand like, it takes time. This is not something that happens overnight. This is, again, an art. There are several layers to it.”

Jade Cargill reflected on the valuable advice she received from current AEW World Champion Bryan Danielson during her training a few years ago. After all, Danielson has worked with many AEW stars during his time with the company to help them master their skills in the ring.

“I remember one of my trainers, Bryan Danielson, telling me that he didn’t get comfortable doing this until seven years,” she shared. “Seven years, and this is one of the greatest technical wrestlers you’ve ever seen. So for him to say that, again, I just have to give myself grace. One of the hardest things is getting people to understand that. I’m still new at this, relatively new.”

As Jade Cargill continues to navigate her career in WWE, The Storm’s insights make it very clear that she is willing to keep going and work as hard as she can to achieve big things in the company.

We will have to see what’s next for Jade Cargill. She knows how much hard work it will take to get herself to where she wants to be. Of course, she is only getting started, but she also realizes that WWE is the place for her to achieve it.
