Cash Wheeler Launches GoFundMe for Hurricane Helene Relief in Hometown

Former AEW World Tag Team Champion Cash Wheeler recently shared the devastating impact that Hurricane Helene had on his hometown. In response, he has set up a GoFundMe campaign to assist those affected by the disaster.

Hurricane Helene has severely impacted the professional wrestling scene, causing the cancellation or postponement of several events across Florida, North Carolina, and other states. The storm has resulted in widespread destruction, with a rising death toll currently at 64. Millions of homes have been left without power for extended periods, adding to the challenges faced by the communities in these areas. Wrestlers, promotions, and fans alike have been affected by the storm’s devastation, as efforts continue to recover from the damage.

In addition, TNA Wrestling initially rescheduled their upcoming shows in Spartanburg due to Hurricane Helene but eventually decided to cancel the events altogether. Cash Wheeler would then reveal the devastating effects of the Hurricane on his hometown in North Carolina.

In response to the devastation, Cash Wheeler set up a GoFundMe campaign to assist those affected by the disaster. Wheeler is aiming to gather supplies, such as food and water, to help people in need, as many are still struggling with access to basic necessities. His efforts will begin in his hometown of Old Fort, North Carolina, and extend to surrounding areas, with all donations and shares helping to support the recovery. At the moment, it has garnered $8,384 of a $10,000 goal.

”We are collecting donations to help deliver relief to those affected by Hurricane Helene.

After making it to safety up north, I am stocking up a van of supplies to drive back down and deliver to those who do not have access to food and water. There’s so many people still without food, water, or ways out. The damage is devastating and will take years to rebuild. I’ll be starting in my hometown of Old Fort, NC and the surrounding small towns to help those in need.

Any amount helps. Any donations help. It doesn’t have to be money, even just a share to help spread the word.”

Despite the setbacks, we remain hopeful that Cash Wheeler’s hometown, along with other affected towns in North Carolina, will recover from the damage caused by Hurricane Helene. Wheeler is doing his best to assist with relief efforts, gathering supplies and donations to support those in need. His dedication to helping his community is a positive step toward the rebuilding process.
