The USA Network was a fine home for WWE’s NXT brand, as they took a chance on the brand after they came from the WWE Network. They had quite a wild ride, which included a Wednesday Night War, but now NXT is bidding the network farewell.

The September 24 WWE NXT was a historic night for the black and gold brand. It marked their final night on the USA Network. This marked their final night on the USA Network, and they had a fitting title for the episode.

Sean Ross Sapp reported on Fightful Select that the internal name for this episode of NXT was “Goodbye USA.” The black and gold brand often gives internal titles to their episodes, and this one was special.

NXT’s lengthy overrun almost resulted in the show being pulled from the air by USA Network, finishing just seconds before the cutoff; fortunately, the broadcast concluded without issues, though the black and gold brand came very close to an interruption. WWE will take NXT on the road for a few weeks, but they plan to return to the NXT Arena with a brand-new look, as remodeling has already begun.

We will have to see what the future of NXT looks like from this point on. They will be in Chicago’s Allstate Arena for the October 1 episode, and tickets are still available on TicketMaster. The NXT brand will then go to Chesterfield, MO for their next week’s episode at The Factory. Tickets for that event right outside of Saint Louis are still available on TicketMaster.

Ringside News will keep our eye on NXT, and we will provide full coverage of the shows on our official NXT results news hub.
