The pro wrestling world must operate around events that go on outside their bubble. When a hurricane comes through, it is impossible to carry on. TNA Wrestling has now decided how they will handle a recent cancellation due to Hurricane Helene.

TNA Wrestling announced that they had to cancel their television taping event for Spartanburg. This was due to Hurricane Helene sweeping through and causing a lot of devastation.

Sean Ross Sapp reported on Fightful Select that TNA will be taping at Skyway Studios in Nashville on Wednesday, October 2, and Thursday, October 3. This is following the cancellation of their Spartanburg shows due to Hurricane Helene

TNA Wrestling made significant efforts to begin tapings from Friday through the following Tuesday to generate momentum for TNA Bound for Glory. The promotion invested heavily in these tapings, bringing the Hardy Boyz to Spartanburg early for media appearances and having staff prepare at the venue. Ultimately, due to the dangers posed by Hurricane Helene and the power outage at the venue, TNA decided to cancel the shows.

This is not the only issue that Hurricane Helene has caused for pro wrestlers, because Chris Jericho’s band Fozzy also had to cancel one of their shows. Sadly, Hurricane Helene has claimed over 50 lives, and our thoughts are with everyone who is dealing with those tragedies.
