Lita is a WWE Hall of Famer and has done a lot for the development of women’s pro wrestling in general, but she is ultimately a human being and is at the mercy of Mother Nature. In fact, she has shown the devastating effects of Hurricane Helen on her property.

Hurricane Helene has created major disruptions in the professional wrestling scene, impacting various events. Hurricane Helene has caused extensive damage across Florida, North Carolina, and other states. The storm has resulted in a rising death toll of 64, with millions of homes experiencing power outages for several days. One notable consequence is the cancellation of a Fozzy concert that Chris Jericho was set to perform.

Additionally, TNA Wrestling initially rescheduled their upcoming shows in Spartanburg but has since decided to cancel those planned events entirely. Even FTR was pulled from an indie event due to the Hurricane.

Many celebrities have been impacted by the hurricane’s destruction. In her Instagram story, Lita shared a video showing her wading through water in her flooded basement, revealing her struggles as the disaster continues into its third day. The water in the basement had almost reached knee level and it is apparent Lita is now trying to clear her basement as much as possible.

Former AEW Star CJ Perry requested prayers for her parents, while others are searching for missing individuals amid the chaos. Regardless, we certainly hope Lita and other people who were affected by the Hurricane will recover.
