Lio Rush has added another major accomplishment to his resume by winning the 2024 British J Cup.

On September 28th, RevPro hosted their annual British J Cup tournament, showcasing eight of the best junior heavyweights from Europe and the US. The tournament featured two AEW stars, Lio Rush and Dante Martin, both of whom managed to advance to the final four-way elimination match.

In the finals, Lio Rush defeated Kid Lykos II, Dante Martin, and Cameron Khai to claim the prestigious trophy. Rush, clearly proud of his achievement, took to social media to celebrate his victory on Sunday morning, writing:

“Last night wasn’t a dream. Preparation met opportunity and I walked out of Stevenage as the 2024 #BritishJCup winner. 🏆🇬🇧 RevPro is truly home. Thank you to the fans who have followed my journey in @RevProUK. We’re just getting started! Meet me today in Sheffield…”

The British J Cup has previously been won by legendary talents such as Jushin Thunder Liger, El Phantasmo, Michael Oku, ‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey, Robbie X, and Leon Slater, placing Rush among an elite group of past winners.

This year’s tournament was a thrilling showcase of talent and also featured standout performances from competitors like Robbie X, Robbie Eagles, Kid Lykos, and Bárbaro Cavernario.
