CM Punk’s dog, Larry, has found a special place in the hearts of fans all over within the wrestling community. Larry’s name gained notable recognition when it appeared on the famous bracelet Punk wore during his storyline with Drew McIntyre. Beyond his on-screen presence, Larry is also well-loved backstage.
Larry was unfortunately involved in the AEW Brawl Out incident with The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega, where he was reportedly kicked during the altercation and required medical attention for a dental issue. That being said, his recent experience backstage in WWE was much more positive.
During a recent episode of Monday Night RAW, Triple H and Bianca Belair had the opportunity to meet Larry, showcasing the dog’s popularity within the WWE environment. Triple H even tweeted out a short video of himself with Larry, and a caption to match.
“All kinds of legends were backstage at #WWERaw this past Monday… …
@CMPunk and I were there, too.“
Bianca Belair was also there in the video, and she was certainly happy to see Larry. The EST of WWE gave Larry a head scratch, and he was very happy to see her.
CM Punk also explained that he did things in the wrong order, as he got married, and then he got a “chick magnet dog.” This is especially funny since the “CM” in his own name stands for chick magnet.
Larry has been a loyal companion to CM Punk through many pivotal moments in his career and has become as integral to Punk’s storyline with Drew McIntyre as Punk’s wife, AJ Mendez. We will have to see what Larry may do next in WWE, but he is certainly welcomed backstage in a big way.
