You never know what can happen in the pro wrestling world. The card is always subject to change at every pro wrestling event, and that is especially true when a hurricane is a part of the situation.
It was previously noted that the show was going to be postponed due to the Hurricane Helene situation. Now, the event has been totally cancelled.
TNA Wrestling has announced that their Spartanburg, South Carolina show has now been cancelled due to the hurricane. This must be a bummer for fans who wanted to see the TNA Wrestling roster first-hand.
The post included a link to the official TNA Wrestling website. The announcement made it very clear that this is not the choice that they wanted to make at all, but they are also taking the safety of their fans and talent above everything else.
“Due to the catastrophic effects of Hurricane Helene, TNA Wrestling is canceling both shows scheduled for Spartanburg, S.C. The safety and well-being of our TNA wrestlers, staff, crew and fans are top priority.
TNA will provide an update on refunds for the Spartanburg shows, as well as an update on future/additional shows.
We wish the best to everyone impacted by Hurricane Helene.“
This is not the only issue that Hurricane Helene has caused, because Chris Jericho’s band Fozzy also had to cancel one of their shows. This storm has also taken lives and changed things forever for those who are affected negatively.
Hurricanes are never fun, but the good thing is that these companies are taking the situation seriously. Our thoughts are with anyone dealing with this terrible situation first-hand.
