Swerve Strickland has been making waves in AEW with his standout performances and growing influence. Recently, Strickland dropped a major hint about AEW’s next big move during a vlog appearance, suggesting that the promotion could soon be making its debut on Fox.

In a conversation with music artist and influencer QueenzFlip, Strickland talked about AEW’s presence on major networks like TNT and TBS. He also mentioned that AEW might be moving to Fox, filling the void left by WWE SmackDown after its departure from the network. Strickland’s comments have ignited excitement among fans, with many speculating about AEW Shockwave, a new trademarked show that could air on FS1.

“It’s a movie,” Strickland said. “We’re about to move. We’re about to get on Fox. SmackDown is leaving Fox. We’re taking Fox. TNT, TBS, and Fox—we got all three of them things. Tony Khan lets me do whatever the f*** I want. He owns the Jacksonville Jaguars.”

The possibility of AEW expanding its footprint to Fox represents a significant milestone for the promotion, which continues to grow its fanbase and media presence. With Tony Khan recently having a special air on FS1, it’s clear that a new chapter is unfolding for AEW, with AEW Shockwave possibly leading the charge.
