Jim Ross Believes Enzo Amore Would Thrive in AEW Despite Past Issues

Enzo Amore and Big Cass were a fan-favorite tag team during their time in WWE, but both were released for different reasons. While Enzo is no longer part of WWE, there has been ongoing speculation among fans about him potentially joining AEW. In fact, Jim Ross shared his thoughts on this possibility as well recently.

Several years have passed since Enzo Amore was fired by WWE due to allegations of sexual assault. Since his release, Amore has been actively competing on the independent circuit and has been earning substantial money.

While speaking on Grilling JR, Jim Ross was asked about Enzo Amore potentially joining AEW and whether it is possible. Jim Ross believes that Enzo Amore would be a great fit for AEW. He thinks it’s important not to ignore talented people like Enzo, even though he might have some issues from the past. Ross says Enzo is unique, very talented, and has a lot of potential.

Ross also mentioned that Enzo played college football and is a good athlete, which makes him valuable. Even though he might not cost much at first, Enzo could end up making a lot of money. Ross also pointed out how Enzo is always trying to change his look and improve himself, which shows he’s serious about his career.

“Yeah, of course, I think so. Why not? Like I said earlier, it’s the same concept—you don’t turn your back on talented people if they want to come and contribute to your company. And, you know, again, Enzo brings a little baggage, but he’s colorful, he’s talented, and the upside… I mean, he’s not going to be a big investment to get on the roster, but over the long haul, he can certainly earn a lot of money. He’s got that look, which is very unique. He’s talented as hell; he played a little college football, he’s an athlete, and a good athlete. So, why not give him a shot? You never know what’s going to hit. And, look at this—put that slide back up there. Look at how he’s outfitted himself. I think that’s important to realize—he’s thinking, he’s trying to reinvent and be different.”

Enzo Amore previously addressed joining AEW as well. Nevertheless, only time will tell whether Amore will make his way to AEW somewhere down the line, as Jim Ross certainly believes there is a place for him in the company.
