Top Dolla was released from his WWE contract last year, making it the second time he has faced such a situation. Despite this setback, he has continued to stay active in the professional wrestling scene and explore other opportunities. With that said, he has revealed the one condition that would need to be fulfilled for him to consider a return to WWE.

The renewed partnership between TNA Wrestling and WWE has been generating excitement since its revival in May, particularly following Jordynne Grace’s appearance on WWE NXT. This collaboration has opened up a world of possibilities for both promotions.

Since the partnership started, a significant exchange of talent between the two promotions has taken place, with stars like Tatum Paxley, The RascalzAlexander HammerstoneJoe Hendry, and No Catch Quarter Crew making appearances on each other’s shows.

While speaking to Straight Talk Wrestling, Top Dolla made it clear that he would only return to WWE as part of their collaboration with TNA if Rich Swann could come back as well.

Dolla said he feels Swann didn’t get a fair deal when he left WWE and believes they were one of the best tag teams in wrestling. He insisted that he wouldn’t go back to WWE without Swann. When he re-signed with WWE, he also wanted to include his teammates Tehuti (Ashante Adonis) and Briana (B-Fab) in the deal to show he looks out for his friends.

“Absolutely, but I wouldn’t do it without Swanny, I wouldn’t do without Rich Swann,” Francis began when speaking to “Straight Talk Wrestling.” “You know, he kind of got a raw deal when he left too. So, you know, not to mention, we’re the hottest tag team in wrestling, I don’t care what anyone says. So, you know, I wouldn’t go without him, I’ve always looked out for my people, just like when I re-signed to WWE, I told Hunter [Triple H], I wouldn’t go without Tehuti [Ashante Adonis] and Briana [B-Fab]. That’s the kind of guy I am.”

Dolla explained that Swann was important to his success. He mentioned that he won the Digital Media title because Swann spoke up for him to the creative team. Swann was originally supposed to win the title, but he convinced them to give it to Francis instead, saying that Francis was the one making a big impact. Dolla added that Swann felt his career was helped by Francis’s achievements.

“People don’t know this — the only reason I won the Digital Media title is ’cause Rich Swann stood on the table for me. Rich Swann was supposed to be the person that won the Digital Media title and he went to creative and was like, ‘No, you need to put it on AJ. AJ is the one getting all the buzz, AJ is the one bringing all the celebrities, AJ’s the one cutting all the promos.’ In his own words, Rich Swann’s own words, he says, ‘AJ saved my career.”

TNA is clearly benefitting from their partnership with WWE at the moment. Nevertheless, we will have to wait and see whether Top Dolla will make his way to WWE, as it would definitely be a big surprise.
