Ex-WWE Star Layla Addresses Potential Return at Royal Rumble

Layla was with WWE from 2006 to 2015 and played a significant role in various storylines during her time with the company. Recently, she addressed the possibility of returning to WWE for the Royal Rumble as well.

Layla previously revealed why she left WWE, as there was simply nothing more she could have done in the company, and she was completely satisfied with her run with WWE.

While speaking to the They made their way to the ring podcast, Layla was asked if she was interested in returning to WWE during the Royal Rumble. Layla admitted that in the past, she was firm about not wanting to come back, feeling her time was over. Although she received an invitation to return in 2021, it didn’t work out for her.

However, she now expresses interest in rejoining, as she believes it would be a positive experience. Layla thinks reconnecting with fans and revisiting her past in WWE would be worthwhile, especially before she feels too old to participate. She aims to avoid injuries but is open to the idea of revisiting her wrestling career.

”In the past, it was no. I wasn’t, I was done. It was over for me. I was invited back in 2021 but I couldn’t go, so it didn’t work out, but honestly, I would like to go back, yeah. I think it would be fine, I think I should. Why shouldn’t I go back? Just to go back again and see the fans and some people wanna see me come back, I think I would like to do that before I get too old. I don’t wanna get hurt but one thing, why not? I’d like to go down memory lane.”

Many fans also want to see Team LayCool return, as fans would love Michelle McCool and Layla to team up again, even if it’s for a one-off appearance at the Royal Rumble. Therefore, we will have to wait and see if Layla will return during the Royal Rumble next year.
