Drew McIntyre has been enjoying a significant career moment lately, with his feud against CM Punk becoming the main storyline on WWE television. It’s no wonder he took the opportunity to mock Punk once again in a big way.

In 2024, the rivalry between Drew McIntyre and CM Punk emerged as one of WWE’s most thrilling storylines. Despite Punk suffering a torn triceps during the Royal Rumble, their feud persisted. Punk frequently interfered in McIntyre’s matches, resulting in multiple losses of the world title for McIntyre. The tension between them escalated, leading to a heated match at WWE SummerSlam, followed by another significant encounter at Bash in Berlin.

Triple H recently shared a video on social media featuring CM Punk bringing his dog, Larry, backstage. While Punk’s beloved pet received a warm welcome, not everyone who watched the video reacted positively.

Drew McIntyre obviously saw the video as he took to Twitter and decided to insult The Second City Saint as he called Punk a flea-ridden, inbred and then joked that Larry looked terrible as well.

”Oh my god look at that inbred, flea ridden pos 😂😂😂 Larry looks stupid as well.”

Drew McIntyre and CM Punk are set to clash in a Hell in a Cell match at the WWE Bad Blood event next month and it is clear they will be shedding a lot of blood in the bout, as their feud continues to intensify with every single day. Therefore, we’ll have to see if McIntyre will go after Larry once again before the event.
