WWE Bad Blood is set to make its return on October 5, 2024, at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, and there’s growing speculation over which match will close out the event. The Premium Live Event has already confirmed five exciting matches, but two in particular are being eyed for the coveted main event spot.

The show will feature CM Punk taking on Drew McIntyre inside Hell in a Cell, a tribute to the very first Hell in a Cell match at Bad Blood: In Your House on October 5, 1997. Competing for the main event position is the blockbuster tag match, where Cody Rhodes teams up with Roman Reigns to face Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu of The Bloodline.

Dave Meltzer has provided insights into the behind-the-scenes discussions regarding the main event. According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the original plan was for Punk vs. McIntyre to headline the show. However, it now seems WWE may opt to close the night with the high-stakes tag team match featuring some of WWE’s biggest stars. As of now, nothing is set in stone, and the decision could change as internal discussions continue.

In addition to these two potential show-closing matches, Bad Blood will also feature:
