AEW has a locker room full of talent, but some of them aren’t around due to injury. Although a recent story gave good news about Thunder Rosa’s status, it seems that it was a bit premature.
Dave Meltzer reported that Thunder Rosa is cleared for her return to the ring. This news spread all over the pro wrestling world, with many hoping that they will see the former AEW Women’s World Champion once again. However, she has now tweeted out to make it very clear that is not happening so soon.
Thunder Rosa saw a headline about her medical clearance, and she had to put her foot down. She unleashed a reply to make it very clear that she is not cleared and any news of her getting that green light will come from her.
“STOP LYING ABOUT MY HEALTH. I’m NOT CLEARED AND WHEN I AM I WILL ANNOUNCE IT. I reserve the right to divulge my medical status. If you need information ask me directly or my team….”
It appears that Thunder Rosa is still not cleared to compete, but she is certainly not finished in the ring. Medical information is a very touchy subject, and she obviously didn’t want any false reports getting out about her situation.
Thunder Rosa’s most recent match took place on the August 31 AEW Collision. In this contest, Hikaru Shida defeated Queen Aminata, Serena Deeb, and Thunder Rosa in a four-way match to become the #1 contender for the AEW TBS Title.
We will keep any eye on any updates about Thunder Rosa. Odds are, the best place to find any legit information about her is from her official social media account. You can also keep an eye on Ringside News’ official Thunder Rosa news hub.
