Nyla Rose Shuts Down Transphobic Hater Claiming Wrestling is Fake

Nyla Rose, a trailblazer in AEW’s women’s division and a pioneering transgender wrestler in the sport, continues to face unwarranted criticism and disrespect from some people despite her many accomplishments. In fact, she shut down a transphobic hater who claimed wrestling is fake.

Nyla Rose took to Twitter and responded to Nigel McGuinness asking fans how they liked his match against Bryan Danielson at AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam. Rose joked that she thought he would make Danielson’s AEW World Title disappear, pointing out McGuinness’ skills as a magician.

A transphobic fan made a derogatory comment to Nyla Rose, saying that pro wrestling is fake and referring to her as “a dude in a dress.” They claimed there are women in MMA who could easily fight someone like her and dismissed wrestling as “fake ass b******,” asserting that MMA requires real skill.

”You want to talk you’re s*** when one this is all fake and two you’re a dude in a f****** dress? There’s 90 lb women in mma that I know that can fight a dude in a dress why you all do this. Fake ass b****** . News flash mma pro wrestling ain’t the same. Mma takes skill.”

Nyla Rose wasted no time in responding to the fan by stating that the money she earns is real while sarcastically wishing the fan good luck in pursuing a wrestling career.

The fan went on to belittle Nyla further, stating that they have a job that likely pays more than hers and that they do not wear a dress. They emphasized their belief that MMA requires true fighting ability, implying that Rose is incapable of actual competition.

”Not your spelling? I have a job too. Probably pays more than you and I don’t wear a dress. Mma takes more skill than faking spots. You actually have to fight something you can’t.”

Nyla Rose replied to the transphobic fan by saying that their mean comments probably come from their own unhappiness. She suggested that the fan is taking out their problems on her and told them to keep making things up to feel better.

”According to your tweets, literally anything, your life is s*** and you’re just taking it out on me… but go ahead and keep making stuff up so that you could feel good. Because according to your timeline, you haven’t for quite a while.💋💋”
