MJF is continuing to make his mark outside the wrestling world with a new role in “Happy Gilmore 2”.

According to a report by Deadline, the former AEW World Champion has officially joined the cast of the highly anticipated sequel, where he will play one of Happy Gilmore’s sons.

Returning for the sequel are Adam Sandler, Julie Bowen, and Christopher McDonald, reprising their iconic roles from the 1996 classic. The movie is set to stream on Netflix when it releases.

This isn’t MJF’s first foray into Hollywood. The AEW star made his acting debut in the wrestling biopic “The Iron Claw”, and has since added roles in “The Floaters” and “Stranglehold” to his growing filmography. He is represented by Activist Artists Management and CAA, making waves both in and out of the wrestling ring.

Though MJF’s acting career is flourishing, his wrestling fans are left wondering when they’ll see him back in AEW. He’s been off television since AEW All Out, where he successfully defeated Daniel Garcia but was brutally attacked by Garcia afterward, leaving him sidelined with a piledriver injury.

There’s no official word yet on when MJF will return to AEW TV, but fans can look forward to seeing him on-screen in the new Happy Gilmore sequel.

MJF’s transition to Hollywood seems to be gaining momentum, with several film projects already under his belt. While his return to the AEW ring remains uncertain, wrestling and movie fans alike can now anticipate his performance in “Happy Gilmore 2”.
